Please explain: Media Tool - Added the ability to add text to non-Smart Media images.

Could someone explain this to me? I am having a hard time understanding what this improvement actually means. Thank you so much.

    Hi Myke,

    It allows you add text to media (not PDF's). For example, if you click on the facet labeled photo, you can now add text to them and export them to Proclaim or PowerPoint.

    In the screenshot below I've added the text "Laptop and Coffee" in the "Body Text" field and it now appears superimposed on the picture. By default it is centred but I've moved the text box so it is top left

    Smart Media images are slide templates that have pre-positioned text boxes and designated typefaces/colours. We've been able to add text to these 'templates' since L6 Visual Copy days.

    With this update we can also add text to 'ordinary' images.

    This is my personal Faithlife account. On 1 March 2022, I started working for Faithlife, and have a new 'official' user account. Posts on this account shouldn't be taken as official Faithlife views!
