As a Byzantine Catholic, I owed a gratitude for Gabriel Martini a former project manager at Logos who introduced Orthodox base package into the ecosystem. While in terms of theology we Eastern Catholics technically can be categorized as a group of sui juris Orthodox churches in communion with the Church of Rome but in matters of ecclesiology we have a distinct theological differences with our Orthodox brethren. Will there be a possibility to add Eastern Catholic authors into Orthodox or Catholic library without creating a new base package? It's a paradoxical situation for me as a Byzantine Catholic. I owed Portfolio Verbum package and Platinum Orthodox package. But neither comprehensively represent our distinct ecclesiology.

I'm hoping the new Orthodox base packages include the Verbum feature set rather than the Logos standard set, but either way is fine. They must have pulled down the entire thread for the Orthodox base packages this morning after they initially posted that they had been released: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/129335/850381.aspx

The way to achieve this is multistep:

Get Faithlife into a relationship with some of the Byzantine Catholic Publishers by suggesting specific books, contacting the publishers, or requests such as this with contact information for the publishers.
When there are sufficient resources available, request that there be a bundle of such resources.

I'd love to see a recommended resource list along these lines. I'm Orthodox but ecumenical and would love to read some of these to better understand Byzantine Catholicism. I'd especially be interested in anything addressing the Roman Catholic reliance upon Aristotelian thought (i.e. Scholasticism) and how Byzantine Catholic thinkers approach many theological issues. For instance, transubstantiation relies heavily on ideas in Aristotelian metaphysics. Do Byzantine Catholics share this view of the Eucharist and what it means to partake of it (as opposed to Eastern ideas on the Mystical Supper)?
