Should one use L4 while it is indexing? Re-indexing?

Peace and Joy in the Lord!
Decided to go this evening for L4.0b. Since it is a a "release candidate," I figured that it would be about as safe as could be.
*smile* .......... However, in reading various segments on Logos.com, I began to wonder about the following
words:
"If you've recently merged new resources into your main index, you will need to rebuild the index. To do this, type "rebuild
index" in the Command box and press Enter. (It is important that you do not use Logos 4 while it is re-indexing). "
My question: Can I still use L4 this evening? It is indexing on its own ... Does this count as re-indexing? Or, is there no difference in the two terms? ............ Thank you!
Yours in Christ, ......... Mel

You can use Logos, but it will be slower because the indexing is going on.
When you install the Beta for the first time it reindexes your resources.
