Spammer more important

Why doesn't FL use some sort of industry standard way to stop automated bots from flooding the forums? It's great that people delete the spam when posted, but that does not help those who receive notifications by email. Below is a picture of my inbox this morning.

If I am valued less as a customer than the spammer, so be it. I have cancelled all my prepubs. $125,000 in lifetime purchases, and treated like this. They want me gone, I am tired of being a voice of complaint on the things FL continues to ignore, only making enemies and not effecting change. That's not helping anyone.

Wow, Don! Count me as uninformed ... though, yes, I'd guess Bellingham has rationalized the problem in their own favor.

Deleting pre-pubs, I'm not sure is a negative. My guess is that prepubs and CPs are on their way out. NOW is where it's at. They're likely happy to see deletions.

And loyal ($$$) customers ... todays dollar pays the bills. Yesterday's dollar paid yesterday's bills. Again, just guessing, but they run on stat reports, and in stat reports, your $125,000 is not there. Nor mine (much smaller).

Looks like this thread doesn't need calming down; no Hillary to spice up the morning. So, I'll add.

Today's news (not Faithlife news) noted 17% of American gun owners own half of the guns ... and that gun ownership has been going down ... slightly.

Why is this relevant ... (you ask) .... it's the marketing principle 20% of customers account for 80% of sales (non-necessity goods/services).

I'd be curious regarding Don's point ... big-spenders at Logos. Vs a lot of new NOW-ers. Maybe the spending pattern shifted.

I continue not to subscribe to the forums by email, and not to be bothered by spammers. They may be thinking about people like me.
