Sermon Document Spellcheck support - when does it "check"?

Great to see Sermon Document spellcheck support included in Logos 7.1 beta 5.

But a couple of questions

In the first screenshot I have entered a couple of test words and neither are flagged as incorrect

If I close and re-open the document then one is flagged

There are some other scenarios which cause incorrect spelling to be flagged.

Question: when are checks done - and can this be done when we are actually typing?

And I also note that spellcheck seems to be recognising that I am in the UK not the US (specifically that I am using British not American spelling).

There doesn't seem any option to configure this - from where is this setting derived and are non-English languages supported?

The Sermon editor is rendered in an embedded instance of Chrome (Chromium). We are using Chromium's native spell check support, and are augmenting their default dictionaries with some Logos-specific (Bible book names; etc) and user-specific custom dictionary data.

The way it's currently implemented, we don't have much control over when the spell checking is run, though in my experience it runs after the word is completed (it doesn't spellcheck incomplete words). Typing a space or enter after "Color" in your example above would make the red squiggly show up, on my machine. There are other possible solutions, but we have some concerns about greater performance impact.

The spellcheck language is derived from the current application language (which is also influenced by some OS-level settings). We may need to add more control over this setting in the future, but we wanted to get an initial release of this oft-requested feature out to people as soon as possible.
