What exactly is meant by "courts of the Lord" and what is the best way to use Logos to find out?
Hi Josh
How about a Bible search for:courts AND Lord
Some results won't be relevant, but you'll hit several verses about the "courts of the house of the Lord" etc.
You'll also see courts of various rulers (e.g. Esther 6:4), which might give us a sense of God as Israel's sovereign.
To find out more you could go to one of those references, right-click on the word "court", choose the Hebrew lemma, and then Search This Resource. That will give you a word-study on how the word is used. For example, the word occurs several times in Exodus 27. You might even do a Bible Word Study on this Hebrew word.
It is important that you're thinking in an OT framework to make sense of this of course.
HTH.

Keep Smiling [:)]
Keep Smiling 4 Jesus you are amazing. How do you always think of these things? You really are gifted and help me to think more creatively, more effectively and always remind me to smile more. I appreciate that.
Thankful God is amazing and in control. Thankful for talents that He has given, especially those that help others.
Thankful for many friendly forum discussions: have learned a lot plus have a lot to learn.
Keep Smiling is also a reminder for me to keep obeying Philippians 4:4-9 and 1 Thessalonian 5:15-25 that include "Rejoice in the Lord always" and "Always be Joyful" that is both an attitude seeking God's Joy plus His gift of receiving Joy (along with Love, Peace, ...). A discussion topic for christiandiscourse.com is the atmosphere in the court of the Lord, possibly full of Love, Joy, Peace, Holiness, Righteousness, and more.
