Unable to get Mac Services to run.

I have tried to activate Mac Services in Logos 7. Currently I am using Accordance services which work fine. When I try to get Logos service to work, however, the computer sits there doing nothing. The designated keyboard shortcut does not work. The right-click menu show the Logos service is present, but it does nothing.

I am sure there is something simple that I am over looking, but at this time I am unable to get the service to activate.

I have tried to activate Mac Services in Logos 7.

There have been other threads on this subject.My results win this have been spotty—at best. I have no luck unless Logos is open in the background. Then, it only works sometimes. I have pretty well given up on this feature.

Here is a thread where the subject was thoroughly discussed Replace with Passage MAC - Still waiting There may even have been a solution, but I do not remember.

Thinking do you have the Copy Bible Verses panel open in Logos. Try closing this and then see if it works.

Thanks Philana. That fixed it. The shift-cmd-E doesn't work, but the right click and choose services does.

The default keyboard shortcut is shift-cmd-J, is "E" a typo or did you try that instead of "J"? Try the default keyboard shortcut.

Went through Pages and tried every shift-cmd-A - shift-cmd-Z and learned a number of useful shortcuts, but none replaced the passage. Went into preferences and changed the "Replace with Passage (Logos)" and made the shortcut shift-cmd-J. Now it works beautifully. It is instantaneous. It now is very useful.
