Very interesting, thanks for sharing! I'm especially surprised to see that WordSearch was first before Accordance, and Logos. And therefore how ironic that WordSearch has progressed the least
Thanks for sharing this link. It is amazing to think just how new Bible software is. I find it exciting to dream about how it will continue to develop in the future and I hope that Logos will continue to lead the way.
Maybe I missed it, but I don't see NIVPC on the infographic. I had that program in the early 1990s.
I don't see
Yes I also don't see Zondervan's Pradis software, The Word, or Glo Bible either. I guess it's not claiming to be comprehensive anyway
I gotta give it to YouVersion.. giving it FREE and simple. (not to mention the plenty different modern translations for free, publishers, partners, volunteers and donors) These guys are amazing really.
I pray their ministry will continue to prosper and God is their biggest rewarded.
Very interesting and balanced article about YouVersion:

(By the way, who came up with such a silly name as "YouVersion"...?!)
Nice. I'm pretty sure I had one or two late 80's ones that worked pretty horribly. Installed off of 3.5" diskettes. Use & throw then buy a different one. Say what you will about Logos--I've never had to buy a book from them more than once.
Anyone remember this?
