Why are training courses videos so slow on streaming

Can this please be fixed ,when i play a courses videos there is a big buffering time

The video plays for about 2 minutes than starts to buffering for some time .

When I start a course from https://www.udemy.com/mastering-logos-bible-software

Udemy, they play there videos with out haveing to buffer

Are logos servers so overwhelmed they just can not stream courses videos

It's Just very annoying

Hi Michael, I don't know why streaming is slow for you. For me streaming seems fast enough when I have good internet service.

Where some of us are, the internet isn't reliable or has other issues, so I plan ahead (sometimes way ahead) and download the media many days in advance. We can also just download audio in some cases. Or sometimes, if all else fails, I just read the text since the transcripts are all included.

I have always found the streaming of courses to be less than desirable and don't bother even trying to stream them anymore.

Agree Udemy is a different story and I never have any issue with the streaming of their courses. Never had the need to download them to my computer so I don't think its as simple as saying the issue lies with the quality of the internet connection. I have a cable connection and connect from my cable modem to my desktop computer via ethernet so there is no wifi in involved.

So is mine, but I still download the videos for the course(s) I am currently working through. Some of the slowness in streaming videos could arise from the load on the FL servers. Downloading the videos will reduce that load as well as avoiding delays in viewing.

Do you use vpn service while streaming video?

I have the same problem trying to watch training courses videos with working vpn service. As it turned out, I’ve picked improper vpn servers that were reload and unstable. I’ve been really surprised to determine the reason of slow internet connection seeing the fact that I’ve used one of the fastest services according to many security reviews (https://www.bestvpnrating.com/vpnrating/best-fastest-vpns).

Anyway, if you use vpn, I’ll recommend to pick another server or even deactivate it.
