Is there a way to run a Bible search for every nazarite (aka Samson and Samuel), every prophet, every priest, every king, etc., in the Bible? Is this possible in Logos?
Thanks!
If you look at this thread: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/130857.aspx ...
I think you'll find that the most direct answer to your question is, "No." But there may be some "close enough" workarounds, depending on what you're actually trying to accomplish and in what form you want the results.

Thanks for the info! I was in a Bible study today about the nazarites (and recently in a study about the priests), so it came to me how interesting it would be to locate all the nazarites in the Bible, all the priests, prophets, kings, judges, etc. I wasn't sure with all the sophisticated tagging if this was available yet.
Maybe something for Logos 8? :-)

Search with Sense and Person items can be created:
<Sense = nazirite> OR <Person Nazirites> OR <Person Samson> OR <Person Samuel (prophet)>

(and recently in a study about the priests)
Logos Now subscribers with online access can use Bible Browser tool to find priest:

I have at times wanted to do this as well.
One way we could do this as a community before Faithlife adds the feature would be if someone created a Notes document with typical groups already written out, such as 12 apostles, prophets from the North, prophets from the south, kings of Judah, Kings of Israel, etc., and then shared it to Faithlife.com in a group.
Then when we needed to do a search like this, we could open up the shared notes document, and copy and paste the search string to add it to our search.
Each search string would look something like this, with terms in parenthesis, separated by commas (or by OR):
12 apostles
(<Person Peter>, <Person John (son of Zebedee)>, ...[etc.])
We have this data as roles for people: for example, David has the roles King, Musician, Servant, Commander, General, Shepherd, Psalmist, and Patriarch.
This data is scheduled to be added to Bible Browser, so if you're a Logos Now subscriber, you'll be able to use that tool to filter by roles.

That's great news, but it would also be extremely useful if the data for Biblical Entities could be exposed in the standard search, so we could search for people with a particular role, gender, or even something like {Person WHERE Father=<Person Isaac>}

This is some of what I was looking for, so glad to see it is there. Thanks for telling me about it!

This is getting even closer to what I want, and I do have Logos Now, so glad to see it is there!

I have a Faithlife Group "Community Study Bible" or "CSB". I'd be willing to create a note file on there people can collaborate on if you want me to.

Excellent. I have Logos Now so looking forward to it.

Very true. Would love to see this in a future Logos update.
In the concordance tool one can filter by roles. Ex: Judges
