I'm studying Gen 1-3 at the moment.  God's voice and word seem central to this section, so I'm wondering: is there a way in Logos to work out how many verses/what proportion of the text involve God's speaking directly?  Yes, I can count the verses myself, but I'm trying to get to know Logos better...!  Thanks in anticipation....!

This a problem that can be approached through the Syntax Search. Start a new search from the File menu. The default database is The Hebrew Bible: Andersen-Forbes.  Select a Segment from the "Add search term" prompt, and populate as below

Set your search range as Gen 1-3. The results show the speech word-by-word within each verse so you will have to count the verses yourself and then determine how many verses are in the first three chapters!
