Some search questions...LiteraryTyping and Louw-Nida

Hi,

I have 2 questions (which are similar in nature).

Question 1:

Both {Section <LiteraryTyping and {Section <LiteraryType are referred to in the Help file (and various videos). I was wondering whether these are synonymous terms or have slight differences.

If they are identical, which is the preferred option (i.e. will one be deprecated soon? i.e. Which one should I add to my search toolkit memory?!)

Question 2:

I have seen Louw-Nida searches written and used in different ways. Again I'd like to know which is the official way...

<LouwNida = LN 93.389> or <LouwNida = 93.389> or <LouwNida 93.389> or <LN 93.389> or even (with no additional datatype info at all) <93.389>

I'm guessing the first is the full one and the others are shorthand. Should there be a LN prefix to the number (officially)?

LiteraryTyping and LiteraryType are both aliases for the same datatype. Neither is preferred. Use whichever you like.

LouwNida and LN are also aliases for the same datatype. See above.

When typing a datatype reference for a search string, you enclose the reference in "<...>". Then comes a datatype name (or any valid datatype alias). For a small set of datatypes (including the Bible datatype), this may be omitted. After the datatype name comes an optional operator (such as the "=" symbol). I recommend checking the search documentation about reference searches in the help file for details on how these modify the search. Finally you enter the reference you are looking for. Most datatypes have some amount of flexibility in how they interpret the reference. For the LouwNida datatype, the leading LN is optional.

<LouwNida = LN 93.389> - LouwNida is the datatype name. "=" is the operator. "LN 93.389" is the reference.
<LouwNida = 93.389> - LouwNida is the datatype name. "=" is the operator. "93.389" is the reference.
<LouwNida 93.389> - LouwNida is the datatype name. "93.389" is the reference.
<LN 93.389> - LN is the datatype name. "93.389" is the reference.
<93.389> - "93.389" is the reference.

Officially, any of these are valid. Formally, all references have a datatype name, optional operator, and reference.

That's what I had assumed from the results I was getting - I just wanted to check!
