How do I find discussions of the prefect tense in Mt 18:18 in my commentaries?
Since Greek can be assumed with regards to that passage, and not all resources might use that full phrase, try the search: "perfect tense" WITHIN {Milestone <mt 18 18>}
You might also try the following search which may pick up a few additional relevant hits: "perfect tense" NEAR <mt 18 18>

How do I search {Addressee <Person A Crowd>} excluding {Addressee <Person Crowd arresting Jesus>}?
Logos 7.1 Release Candidate 1 shows <Person A Crowd> does not include Mt 26:48, Mt 26:55, and Mt 26:56 for <Person Crowd arresting Jesus>
{Addressee <Person A Crowd>} OR {Addressee <Person Crowd arresting Jesus>}

Using OR to separate search terms causes search result highlighting color differences.
Using comma to list search terms has same color in results:

You could just use {Addressee <Person A Crowd>} ANDNOT {Addressee <Person Crowd arresting Jesus>}
It's not foolproof, if there's one crowd, and a different crowd arresting Jesus in the same verse, then that would be wrongly excluded. But it's the best you can do until we get NOT INTERSECTS.
How do I turn off multiview?
If I have included a resource as part of a multi-view tab, I can remove it simply by clicking the multi-view icon and deselecting the resource. If I have that same layout saved under two different layout names, I can remove the resource from the multi-view tab in one layout without it affecting the resource in the other layout.
I can also have multiple occurrences of the same resource open in the same layout, some as part of a multi-view tab and some as independent tabs, and open and close the resource as desired without any unexpected side affects.
Shortcuts are saved along with the multi-resource view configuration you had when you made the shortcut.
...
I just tested this to confirm. Shortcuts, Favorites, and Layouts all work in this way. They all save the multi-resource configuration and will apply that when the shortcut/favorite/layout is loaded.
Are the Timeline Tool and Bible Event Navigator interrelated?
Yes, they're related, but they're also distinct.
- Timeline includes events from world history: so it's a superset of biblical events, with roughly 10x as many events
- Only biblical events with an associated date range are represented on the Timeline
How do I search for the Kingdom of God?
Try opening up the Factbook tool and going to the article on Kingdom of God. Open the Passages section. You can save all the passages there as a Passage List or open them all directly in your preferred Bible.
You could also try a Bible search on {Section <PreachingTheme Kingdom of God>}
The challenge with starting any search is digging into what you're looking for specifically.
Some additional search suggestions beyond those above:
- In the Bible Sense Lexicon, we have a sense for "Kingdom of God" that matches lexicalized phrases. If you're using this in Bible Search, "<Sense kingdom of God>" matches this sense and the subordinate kingdom of God ⇔ era (which is generally what you want, since this expression represents "a kind of" its parent). There are 138 results, including things expressed in English as "kingdom of their Father" (Matt 13:43). This is probably the closest to what you're looking for if you're focused on the NT.
- In Bible Word Study, if you search for "kingdom" you'll see a Phrases section that includes "kingdom of God" and "kingdom of heaven" (and others). Here the system is looking at specific words in a slightly more general way.
- Andrew's suggestion to use Bible Search and "{Section <PreachingTheme Kingdom of God>}" brings back many more results because this is a broader notion that encompasses OT concepts of God's dominion ("the kingly rule of God in the lives of people and nations"). This is also what you get with the Bible Browser by selecting Topics: Kingdom of God.
- In Factbook, the Passages section for for the concept "Kingdom of God" brings back a handful of key verses, along with quite a few other verses. These results are mined primarily from Bible dictionaries and similar reference content discussing this concept: so they're very likely to be related to the concept. We don't curate these results, so occasionally you'll find a false positive, but they also can offer a different dimension: for example, they include Rev 22:1-5, which doesn't use this phrase, but is generally about God's reign.

In the new Media Tool what determines if text gets placed on a second slide?
I don't know the details of the layout algorithm, but some experimentation suggests you're correct: hard returns produce new slides.
How do I find all the Greek words translated by the English word "life"?
I'd run a Bible Word Study on the English word and use the Greek Translation Section ... I could then change English translations to get the results for particular translations.
