I have IVP’s and Zondervan’s background commentary sets. How does The Bible Knowledge Background Commentary: New Testament (3 vols.) compare to them?
1 major difference is No images compared to hi-def images in Zondervans
2. Its more thorough than IVP
3. its more thorough in some treatment than Zondervan, (though others it seems comparable)
And it's included in Reformed Starter base package, so you mught want to check your dynamic pricing. You might end up paying less and getting more 😁

James Taylor, Do you think it's worth $68? Also, would you mind showing a screenshot of a passage? Logos doesn't provide any sample pages.
DAL, thanks for the tip. The Reformed Starter would cost me an extra $20. But I don't see any other resources in it that interests me.

Ok, so after spending several minutes of comparison of different verses.... Wow, I didn't realize just how Illustrated the Zondervan set is. lol
but for the most part, they seem to both (BKBC and ZIBBC) have generally the same citations, but the BKBC sometimes had links to those resources where the ZIBBC sometimes didn't have links for the same citations (though it certainly contains a ton of links too). Here's a shot...
Thanks, James. I think I'm going to buy it.
