Size of Verbum Portfolio Library: Can't Index?

In Mbytes or GBytes. I have a 128 GByte MacBook Air. I recently upgraded to Verbum Portfolio from Verbum Capstone. I have about 6,300 "resources." Verbum no longer can find enough memory to index on my laptop. This was never a problem before upgrading. I've deleted lots of old files. I can't free up enough space. How much space is my Verbum library occupying? Is it that large? Anyone from Logos/Faithlife?

That is a fairly tiny drive. How much free space do you have available?

After doing lots of pruning, 827 MB. Verbum tells me it needs 1 GB to index.

Logos Portfoliio is just under 15GB. I assume Verbum is similar

If you've watched any video content, there may be a hefty cache hanging around, I deleted the entire webcache folder (as instructed by Mark Barnes) and saved 3Gigs !! back when I had this same problem. Also Bradley suggested this to me..."enter the command "rebuild library index" into the command box at the top of the program. This will delete the existing index (freeing up ??GB) and then build it from scratch. You will not be able to search while this is taking place, but you should have enough free disk space for indexing to complete. (You may want to run this command at the end of the day and leave your computer running.)"

Also using a program such as Ccleaner to clear up some junk files can help too.

You are critically low. You need to massively clean your computer or get a new one.

It stops indexing when less than 1 GB happens that said indexing uses 10GB of space. Best advise I can offer is grab a 16 gb jump drive and try to get 10 or more go of stuff moved onto it to allow the indexing to happen.

One other thing to think about, Apple just updated the OS, now they have macOS Sierra.

I upgraded and ended up with about 17GB free space. The new OS also helps to manage your older files and clean extras on your drive.

Logos uses about 50gb on my system with 5,400 resources.
