Can anyone suggest an up to date and thorough biography on Basil that FL carries? I'm assuming that Verbum will be included.

yeah I guess that's ok. Haven't fully read it yet. 1895 is a 'wee' dated though. Just want something a tad more recent. But thanks.

You seem to have your answer. May I suggest checking Dr. Harmless's wonderful Bibliography at http://moses.creighton.edu/JRS/toc/bibliographies.html ? It has quite extensive sections on Church History of just about every era.
