Hi, the following is an email that I have sent to Logos CS as well as a salesman who has contacted me before. Unfortunately its now more than 3 weeks since I've sent the email and surprisingly no one for the company has come back to me with some form of answer.
Thus I'm repeating my question below and hope to see if there is anyone in the Logos community who may share my concerns and may be able to throw some light on the issue. Thank you.
The question is:
I’m a heavy user of Logos, a long time customer of Logos that dates back to the Libronix days, and have made substantial investment in the product.
As your company’s product strategy continues to develop and evolve, it comes to a point that I would like to seek clarification on how it may affect my own upgrade plan in future with Logos.
Specifically your company now seems to adopt to a different product strategy when it comes to your new, online cloud product (Logos Now) vs. the original “offline” product (Logos 6 or 7). For example, the “Bible Browser” feature seems to be only available on the new product but not the offline one. Thus my question is that is Logos going to enhance the Now product from now on and pretty much leaves the offline one stays at where its now?
As a customer that already put in a lot of money to acquire upgrades and books, etc., I need to have a clear statement of direction from Logos on the future of the offline product, or does it have a future at all, when Logos only or predominately invest in enhancing the new NOW cloud product?
Much appreciates your comment on the above so that I could better prepare myself as I intend to stay on with Logos in the coming years.
