My installed Libronix has a nonexistent user ID

Hey everyone
I couple of years ago I installed the Libronix system when I bought an ESV Bible - it came with a free electronic version. I've used Librionix since then as my basic Bible study tool. I purchased an old Logos version of the works of Cornelisu Van Til (on disc) shortly thereafter too.
OK, now to the point. Today I signed up for an account here at Logos so that I could buy Millard Erickson's "Christian Theology" (download version). I downloaded it and installed it. But then I opened Libronix and it is still locked. I then saw that my customer ID as showing in Libronix is an old email address I no longer have, and my user ID that I opened my account with is - well, new!
I cam back to logos.com and tried to sign in with the old user ID. No such account exists. OK, so I uninstalled Libronix and then reinstalled the ESV electronic edition, putting Libronic back on my computer. I opened it up, and bam - there's that old user ID sitting there still!
I don't know what to do next. I need to get rid of that old user ID and get my new one into Libronix somehow.

This sort of problem usually is fixed most quickly by going through customer service ... not much help when its 8 hours or so until they open. Someone might have a better idea - like downloading Logos 4 if your still on Libronix (L3).

OK, I have uninstalled Libronix and deleted the installation folders even. Then I installed the latest version from the website. But yet, when I open it up it still has the old user ID.

If it helps, I stress that I have never purchased or unlocked anything before, so I don't mind losing the old user ID permanently. Is there a way to simply remove an ID, as one might remove a user account from an email program?

I believe there's probably some stray file or registry key with your old ID in it. Try running this: http://www.logos.com/media/tech/PurgeLDLS.bat IF memory serves correctly it wipes out all those pesky stray files. After the purge try the install from the web again.

Huh, well, unless someone more skilled in LIbronix tech support chimes in, I'd have to agree with MJ that you'll probably need a call to CS to get this straightened out.
