question about sync between desktop version and iPad version

Specifically, if I read to a particular point in a book on my desktop version (windows) and shutdown the program should it sync to where I left off when I open Logos and the book on my iPad?  I ask because that does not seem to be happening and I do not know if it is supposed to do so.

    If the book is already opened on the iPad, it will stay put.

    It should do as you suggest assuming you don't have the resource open on the iPad at the same time.

    If it is open, the position is not updated
