Any way to turn off the English Dictionary?

Hello,

When I was reading a resource, and trying to select certain words or sentence to highlight, I often mistakenly "double click" a word, which brought up an English Dictionary. I guess it was my problem, but happened mostly with the Surface Pen. I'm wondering if there is any way to turn off the English Dictionary. So I don't have to close the Dictionary every time it is brought up.

This maybe not what you want but.

But you can Prioritize many types of resources in your library, if you have other dictionaries you can Prioritize them to first when you do need a dictionary that is.

If you have not Prioritized your resources, and tagged them, or put stars by your most used resources. It something you may want to do, this helps you in many ways.

If you don't want to use the English dictionary at all you can hide the resource, by opening settings and moving to the bottom.

I tried, but it will automatically find a next recourse after I hide all the English Dictionaries, for example,

Graham, Glenn. An Exegetical Summary of Ephesians. 2nd ed. Dallas, TX: SIL International, 2008.

But I don't want anything to happened when I "accidentally" click any English term, which happens frequently with the Surface Pen.

is a Surface Pan this thing you touch a Touchscreen (sorry I'm old) could you change the Pen to taking longer for a double click?

Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, it is used for touchscreen, similar to Apple Pen.

Unfortunately, I could not find anywhere to change that. I think the mouse setting probably applies to the Surface Pen. And even if I set the double click as the fastest, it wouldn't solve the problem.

To my knowledge, there is no way to turn off altogether double-clicking functionality in Logos. If you prioritise something else, then it is that other resource that will open rather the dictionary, so it will not solve your problem. You may able to customise your pen's behaviour with its own setting app. It looks that you can, in particular, adjust its sensitivity (perhaps better than what is possible through Windows settings).
