I have just read the latest blog entry, and watched the little videos, but I am still left going "Hah!" when I see it called "my" homepage ... it doesn't feel like "my" homepage, as I am unable to select the kind of things that it displays, and where they appear.
When I select prepub information, I don't expect a load of pictures to appear from odd resources.
I want the option of being able to turn off all the information - a blank homepage (with no welcome message, or whatever).
When I select devotionals, I want to be able to select which books are used, and how big the area they appear in; and where on the screen they appear. After all, I might just want to be able to read the entire devotional without having to go clicking to find it.
I want to be able to select a number of my own resources to appear ... and for them to either open randomly, or for them to open where I last used them.
Sorry to go on, but I find the L4 openning pages irritating in the extreme, and yes, I know that I can turn them off, and I guess I will when I stop using L3 as my main interface to my Logos resources. But I can see how a home page like L4 gives me could be excellent ... if only I could control it.
While we are talking about the L4 page, I would love for the ribbon of icons to be two (or three) deep, to save me having to scroll backwards and forwards through them to find my favourite resources.
