What Are Your Thoughts on Comfort’s New Testament Text and Translation Commentary?

I’m interested in purchasing Philip W. Comfort’s New Testament Text and Translation Commentary. I haven’t come across too many reviews on the book. What are your thoughts?

I think it's a great resource. See recent thread: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/131499/855858.aspx#855858

I agree with both DAL and James. It is inexpensive in relation to the value of its commentary, however, owning Lexham, Omanson, Comfort and Metzger. If I could own but one resource, I would prefer Metzger over the rest.
Meanwhile, Jesus kept on growing wiser and more mature, and in favor with God and his fellow man.

I find the resource to be phenomenal!! I use this in conjunction with the NET textual notes. You will hit the ball out of the park in regards to addressing textual critical issues with these 2 resources.

If you are Comfort able with it, go for it [;)]

Richard,
As above, excellent resource. I use it all the time. Some of Comfort's other resources are worth a look too.

IGNORE THIS POST. I TRIED TO DELETE IT BUT WAS UNABLE TO DO SO. [:(]
I had this in my cart for quite a while and picked it up today, but am unable to scroll less than a page at a time in this resource on my laptop for the following reasons.
- No scroll bar so I can't scroll that way.
- Up and Down Arrow Key don't scroll one line at a time--they scroll an entire page, same as the Page-up and Page-down keys.
- Trying to use the track pad for two-finger scrolling is totally unmanageable, making large multi-page jumps that I can't control.
I haven't tried using an external mouse and scroll wheel because I simply don't use one with my laptop. Are others who have purchased this resource seeing anything like this?
EDIT: OK... I found all the above problems can be resolved, but only with columns set to "None", and even then it doesn't work if I have the Table of Contents open when I set the columns to "None". If the TOC is open when setting the columns to "None", I have to close the TOC to get the scroll bar, then it will stay when I re-open the TOC. Do others see this behavior???
