Is there any update on when the new bible revision Luther 2017 by the German Bible Society will be available in Logos?
Sadly, I think this is going to be my 'Fare thee well!' to Faithlife / Logos Bible Software for good.
For nearly half a year since my request there has been no info whatsoever whether and when the requested source will be available for Logos Bible Software. Remind you, this is not just any title - for German speaking users it's one of the most critical sources to have in a Bible study software! The print version is out there now since October 2017. There's an app for it. It's in Accordance. It has been known for years that it is going to be published in 2016, still there hasn't been so much as a hint from Faithlife on what they are planning to do with it. From my perspective as a German speaking user, this is just very poor customer service policy / PR.
I've spent quite a bit of money on SESB-packages (and a Base Package) for Logos, but since I've been playing with that thought for years now and all this isn't too expensive in Accordance (not to mention several issues like e.g. speed, where Accordance still surpasses Logos Bible Software by far), I'm going to give the OakTree company a try ...
Theolobias I hope you are happy with Accordance having used it since the start I can say it's great software. It is always sad when other companies get to offering an item first, or in this case if it feels like FL is not listening to your desires. Even if FL offers it it is hard to know how long it would take to get through it's prepub system and after that how long it would take to get the original language ties in that come default with Accordances release of this text. I know a similar amount of hard feelings might erupt when later this year (i think is the projected schedule) the new CSB original language tie ins is released in Accordance while at this point FL is not sure yet if they will do that for the CSB. I use both software and enjoy them greatly together but can appreciate why you desire to leave.

Thank you, Dan! [:)]
As a German and ex Lutheran, I can see how that is an urgently required resource if Faithlife wants to sell to any mainline protestant church in Germany.
Maybe it's worth considering producing it outside of pre pub for the upcoming German L7 base packages?
