What is the big difference between notes and clippings. I know they both save info for you for later. Help me learn more about each one of them please.
Hi Sheree - and welcome to the forums
Does the discussion at https://community.logos.com/forums/p/122245/799067.aspx help answer your question?

What is the big difference between notes and clippings.
Short answer: A note is something you wrote. A clipping is something someone else wrote.
Slightly longer answer: Notes are content you add to a verse, book, etc. Clippings are sections of text or illustrations that you find in a resource and want to save in such a way as to find it later, or to be able to easily move it to your own writing/work.
Think of it this way: Say you see a paragraph in a magazine you like. You clip it out. Then to add your own thoughts to what you clipped, you write a note on it.
