Problem when using Text Comparison Tool

One of my standard setups contains a Text Comparison window, with 5 english translations linked to my active Bible window (in the example, the NIV). I have noticed a persistent problem and wondered if anyone else has had noticed it too?
When I scroll a linked Bible window to the first verse in the biblical book, (Hebrews 1:1 in my example) the text comparison window then begins loading the entire book of Hebrews in it's window. This brings Logos to a standstill until completed (in this case about 15-20 seconds).
That is a problem in itself, but the other result is that as you then move back through the book, the Text Comparison window does not scroll with your work (because the verse you may be reading, say Heb. 3:2, is actually there already, just not in view. So you have to manually scroll down to find it or type the verse you want into the verse box. Then if you go back to the beginning, it does it again!
This started really bothering me when I recently started studying for two separate sermon series and have begun two NT books. So I am often at the beginning of the book and this phenomon keeps happening.
Any Suggestions?

i can reproduce your problem.
a work-around is, after going to the new book and after it has finished loading it, in the passage box, change it to a single verse (e.g. Hebrews 1:1) and it will follow your Bible (pretty fast by the way). Its better than having to move the Text Comp window manually.
i know its not a fix, but this works.

Yes, that is what I do. Time after time. I hope they change the way this functions. I can't think of any good reason to load the entire book into a Text Comparison Window. Studying smaller books like Hebrews and Colossians, it's annoying, but I just tried it in Genesis and it was over 2 minutes for the program to start responding again! And Logos 4 works pretty fast on my machine.

Yes, I had this problem too, and forgot to post about it. Very aggravating. Seems like there should be a upper limit on the number of verses it displays (100? 200?).

I've created a bug report on the wiki at http://wiki.logos.com/Bug$3a_Scrolling_causes_Text_Comparison_to_display_the_whole_Book
