How far away is Logos from using Chromium version 53? Seems it may offer some nice speed/performance improvements. I seem to recall Logos is a few releases behind in the Chromium version it uses (maybe wise, to be careful)?

We are on CEF 3.2707 which corresponds to Chromium 51. I don't have specifics on when we will adopt future Chromium releases.
