Precept Ministries Link on L7 Home Page

After getting the November free book and joining the two Faithlife Groups for Precept Ministries, now when I open L7, I'm seeing a large Precept Ministries logo over my sidebar. What caused this to appear and what is it? It looks as if Precept Ministries has taken over sponsoring my copy of Logos (any chance at more free books, then?) :-)

I am quite excited that Precept is finally available in Logos and downloaded the November free book. But it does not show up in my library. I downloaded it this morning and have restarted Logos 3 times hoping it would download. Do you see the books or just the logo for precept?

I have the resource downloaded, but I did not join the Faithlife Group for Precept Ministries.

The logo is a link to their website. You'll also find a new RSS feed in your home page configuration menu. These features are available because you joined the Precept Ministries Faithlife group.

I don't think the logo is supposed to be that large. I'll take a look tomorrow.

For the record, our intent is that you follow the main Precept group, not join it. Joining triggers the co-branded desktop homepage, which is a feature we're experimenting with for certain partners.

Thanks everyone for the great feedback. I did "join" instead of "follow" the group which triggered it. I see the option where I can enable/disable it on my home page.

For what its worth, it is an interesting feature where you can offer "additional ministry branding" with Logos tied to Faithlife groups. I can see a use for it for churches, schools, etc. I believe there is potential here to do something neat, even if I accidentally stumbled upon it. :-)

So, is this what the transcripts on prepub offer (material from FBOM), because if that's the case I'm not really impressed and will cancel my prepub. So a nice good long sample (as has been requested for the past 2 years) would be appropriate if you really want to promote the prepub. Please 😁

Found a bug: clicking on the home page customization to remove the Precept blog does not remove the logo. I guess the only way to remove the logo is change "join" to "follow". Just thought I'd let you know.

Yes, that is the intentional behavior. Adding and removing the blog only adds or removes blog entries from the main portion of the home page.

By previews I was referring to the materials under temporary licenses. I apparently misunderstood your original question. My apologies.
