Will the NLT be updated to its current form?

I see that Logos does not have the latest version of the NLT. In working on a text today I came to the realisation that Logos still has the 2004 text of the NLT but there were changes made in 2007. It's all neatly laid out so it should be easy to update.

    Mine seems to have the 2007 text (I compared the first few Genesis passages) but the Logos 4 copyright info says 2004... I'm confused.  Can someone at Logos clarify?

    Given all the controversy over the NASB, shouldn't we really want both versions?  Just a thought.

    I'm a little confused as well as we seem to have a transitional edition between what the NLT website is calling the 2004 and 2007 versions of the 2nd ed. In the first example, Genesis 1:14 we have this:

    "Then God said, 'Let great lights appear in the sky to separate the day from the night. Let them mark off the seasons, days, and years.'" 2004 NLT 2nd ed

    "Then God said, “Let lights appear in the sky to separate the day from
    the night. Let them mark off the seasons, days, and years." Logos NLT

    "Then God said, 'Let lights appear in the sky to separate the day from the night. Let them be signs to mark the seasons, days, and years.'" 2007 NLT 2nd ed.

    The Logos version has removed "great" but has not changed "mark off" to "be signs to mark."

    When the NLT 2004 2nd ed first came out Logos was going to make it a different resource (and sell it again) but Tyndale insisted that it replace the NLT 1st ed (so we got a free upgrade).

    On the whole I have to say that all these changes in our translations are very annoying and cause confusion when people have different editions (or sub-editions) of the same translation. Perhaps we do need a digital archive of all editions so we know what's going on but that would perhaps cause more confusion.
