Can't get Dictionary to show up

Here's what I'm running into. I recently downloaded "A Critical Lexicon & Concordance to the English and Greek New Testament."

When I do a word meaning, Vines comes up first because I have that prioritized. But when I hit the + sign to the right of Vines, other concordances will come up but not Bullinger. I've even prioritized Bullinger (Critical Lexicon & Concordance" in front of Vines but it will not come up in the list, no matter what word I click on.

If I do an Exegetical Guide, Bullinger is first in the list.

Thus my question is, how can I get Bullinger to pop up beside Vines / Bdag etc? I guess another question might be, why is it not showing when I hit the + beside Vines but does appear in the Exegetical Guide?

Is this about desktop (L6) or mobile? If the later, which platform?

If the reference box at the top of the panel lists the Volume and Page number, then click in the box and pick one of the other items from this list. This reference will be used to initialize the list of resources in the New Tab, but Volume/Page is not valid for looking up in other resources.

If your current reference is not shown as Volume/Page, then click in the reference box and select one of the other listed options. Then click in the box again and reselect your desired item. This may clear up a bug that causes the Volume/Page reference to be used rather than the reference that is currently displayed. This bug will be fixed in an upcoming release.

If none of that succeeds, then it's possible the problem is that the word displayed in the reference box is not actually available in Bullinger.

Andrew, you're showing me something from Logos 7. Here's what I'm referring to ... notice where I've drawn a circle, there is no "critical lexicon" listed there for this word. When I open up the Exegetical guide, the critical lexicon is there at the top of the list.

I'm trying to figure out why it is not listed where I've drawn the circle or when I click on the + sign.

The behavior is the same on Logos 7 as Logos 6. However, the screenshot shows that it is displaying the list of "resources with G2076". This indicates that the active location in the book was Greek Strongs #2076. The reason "critical lexicon" doesn't show up in the list is because it doesn't contain Greek Strongs numbers. If you change your reference in the book to one of the "word" options rather than the Strongs number, then this will work as you are expecting.

I'm taking it from the "word" options, you mean removing the Strongs number. Is that correct?

Double clicking is also a great option.

In my screenshot above, there are 9 different word options (starting with Forefather). If any of those are selected, then the list of resources that show in New Tab will be ones containing that word.

Here's what I'm finding now. In a previous layout I created sometime back, I simply opened Bullinger from the Library, dragged it amongst the present Dictionary / Lexicon tabs I have set up, sync it with the rest of them and lo & behold ... when I click even on a Strong's number, Bullinger will open up with that word also.

What still puzzles me a bit, is how Trump got in, Ohhhhhhhhhhh, doooo pardon me, I mean how is it though Bullinger is prioritized at the very top of the list, Vines will open up first. If I click on the Bullinger tab, the same word that pops up in Vines or bdag will pop up in Bullinger. Isn't that weird and wonderful?

Here, are you first clicking on a word in a bible? Are Bullinger and Vines linked? A screenshot would best illustrate what you are describing.

This doesn't help me understand what you did to get "forefather", and I'm handicapped by not having Bullinger. Provide a screenshot with open tabs/panels for Vine's, Bullinger and the resource with the Strong's number, after it is clicked. What other resource uses the link set B on Bullinger?

Of course, if the Gk word is not found in Bullinger, then it is not going to bring anything up. Here's a screenshot. Also, at first, I didn't find Bullinger to sync but now for whatever reason, it is. Thus, I am presently having no problem.

Bullinger is on the B link set so I suspect Vine's is also on the B link set (if they are different then Bullinger will not "sync").

If you click "riches" then it will bring up "riches" in Vines, and what happens after that can be unpredictable as the linksets could "sync" on a headword other than "riches". As they both have "money", it appears that Bullinger is syncing on "money" rather than the Greek word!

I need a screen shot showing OPEN tabs for both Vines & Bullinger (move Vine's to the tile where Baker NTC: Mark is) to stop second-guessing like this!

All in the left top pane are synced by the letter B. Here's a picture of Vines & Bullinger opened at the same moment. Though all being synced "seems" to work including Bullinger, I'm not ready to say it's working perfect because I've not tried it that much yet.

To see if it "should" work, go to the information panel of all resources linked in set A and identify the common element in their indexes - that will be what they are/can be linked on.

Vine's has both the Greek noun and the Greek verb as headwords under the article on Root and the verb is top of the list (click in the text box to see this), so it is entirely possible it will link to the verb under Rooted in Bullinger. So results can be unpredictable due to the organization of Greek words under English headwords in both Vine's and Bullinger.

Thank you both for the replies. The information panel shows both Bullinger & Vine's under many words, thus giving their meaning. As said, it can (and probably will be) unpredictable in some cases. Whatever, I've always liked Bullinger in the Book form and it's nice to have it on here as of late.
