I could not recall but probably through "association/partnership" of some sorts through Logos, receives periodic emails from Zondervan on e-book sales.

In the event a purchase is made from Zondervan, how does one read the e-book? Is it readable through Logos Bible Software, Kindle, a readily available software on your computer or whatever?

Zondervan links to the stores that are hosting the relevant sale when you choose to buy something from their promotional site. Often the sales are on standard ebooks rather than bible software, so Logos might not be listed, but they will be when they do support a sale - Vyrso often (though not always) takes part in the the ebook sales too, so it's worth checking there too if you want the book in your Logos apps.

It depends upon which company you purchase those resources through... but it isn't a Logos / Faithlife question. It's a question for those companies.

If you buy the book through Amazon, you will use the Kindle app.
