I have a friend who bought L7 (Mac) recently and after downloading it will not open. It bounces a few times on the tool bar and then closes.
I told him he will have to call in to tech support, but any initial ideas why this would be happening?

Most likely, he needs to trash the dock icon, open Logos from the "apps" folder, and create a new dock icon. If that doesn't work, a related fix would be to delete the app from the app folder and re-download the engine. NOTE: this will not mean loss of notes or need to reindex... unless that was already needed. Those files are kept elsewhere and are not deleted when the app is deleted from the Applications folder.
