Wanted: Restore Serial Associations to L4/L4Mac

This really useful function was dropped in the move to L4. Applying it meant that when I was working in a version of the English New Testament I could have my Greek text open and linked to that. If I changed from New Testament to Old Testament in the English, then the parallel Original Language text switched to Hebrew. This was pretty neat. Returning to the NT the OL text returned to Greek.

Yes, I know there is a workaround, but it's cumbersome. L4 was meant to be about improving and enhancing the Bible Study experience, but dropping Serial Associations was a retrograde step.

Bring it back asap. Like yesterday!

I like to create my all-time favourite multi-author commentary in L3 - You know, something like

Carson (EBC) on Matthew; France (NIGNT) on Mark; Bock (BECNT) on Luke; Carson (PNTC) on John; Peterson (PNTC) on Acts; Schreiner (BECNT) on Romans, Thiselton (NIGNT) on 1 Corinthians; Harris (NIGNT) on 2 Corinthians; Witherington III (SRC) on Galatians; O'Brien (PNTC) on Ephesians); O'Brien (NIGNT) on Philippians; O'Brien (WBC) on Colossians; etc

And have my NT linked to one of them; and then as I navigate through the Bible the right commentary just pops up at the right place.

I can't define my dream multi-author commentary in L4 without (user defined) serial associations. Please bring them back.

There's already a suggestions to make the BHS and NA27 a single resource which could be accomplished via SRAs in L3. So perhaps you could convince those people to switch their votes to a more general solution.
