Pulpit Commentary missing items

Ive been reading the Pulpit Commentary, specifically Psalm 100, where a sermon is quoted. However, the author of the sermon is not cited. Upon trying to learn more, I tried to look at the beginning of both the volume and the series to look for some helps as to where to find these. But There appears not even a copyright page with date of publication. Surely this is available in the paper copy?

Might you need to add the copyright date and any helps? And how might I find out who authored the quoted sermon?

If you give us a chunk of the text that includes the text, we'd probably have someone who can identify it. At the end of each homily excerpt there are initials given to identify the author. Somewhere in the resource should be a table of these initials - a search should find it ...

MJ this was taken from the Homilies maybe it is what you mean. This is for Psalm 100.

In the Real Book there is no Noote for S.C.

I don't think this is so easily solved. See, the initials are not at the end of the sermon, they are dropped periodically throughout what appears to be one sermon; and there are no initials at the very end. Who can explain why there are initials throughout and not at the end?

Thanks all for your help! So here it is: the Logos Version says "by various authors" without listing them, or in the least listing initials at the end, but only after some parts (i don't understand the logic here). Logos makes it look like this is one really long sermon. Google Books lists these homilies, and cites the various authors by full last name- over each sermon that is cited

This frustrates me a bit. Why the difference? This frustrates me a bit- no copyright date, the loss of headings and subtitles but more importantly, ommitting the separate sermons and their author's identities. This is an important issue for those who care about scholarship and don't want to plagiarise. But more importantly those who just want to understand what is being said. This is not one long sermon that is hard to read through but many! Shouldn't it be categorised as such?

RT = R. Tuck etc.

But the key to the names appear to be missing and the division between sermons is obscured. This is a resource that needs sermon labels ASAP.
