First time in 15 years my Logos 4 would not open. Any ideas?
I am attaching the error log.

Hi Darrel - and welcome to the forums
There isn't enough information in the log you provided to identify what is happening.
Is there a Logos.log file in the folder as well? That would provide more information.
But the first step I recommend is upgrading to the free Logos 6 engine - available from https://www.logos.com/support/install_logos_6
Logos 4 has been unsupported for a long time.

I concur with Graham. Your first step is to update to the latest, available engine. FYI - The engine is always free, but is held back exclusively to those who make a purchase for a brief period when a major release comes out. You should have been using L5 & L6! The most current version, L7 is available now for those who purchase a new base package OR subscribe to Logos Now. If you don't want to make a purchase, it will be available free in February.
Also, you might want to consider updating your version of macOS.
This is good advice in general, but if you're running additional older third-party apps that you rely on, you may want to ensure all other apps will also be supported.
I'd hate to see you update your OS then discover that another app you might also use stops working, or would cost a lot to upgrade, unlike Logos, to be able to run on the latest OS.

Very true.

Welcome [:D]
The Logos Error log did not have any insight for Logos 4.6c SR-7 not opening; humanly would like to look at Logos.log file since some causes for not opening are not written to LogosError.log file.
Since running OS X 10.10.5 concur with free Logos upgrade from 4.6c SR-7 (released on 31 Mar 2014) to Logos 6.14 SR-2 (released on 20 Sep 2016) => https://www.logos.com/support/install_logos_6
Note: once Logos 6 has opened, the application support database files are upgraded so Logos 4 and Logos 5 will not open since the database files have newer version than the application. Logos 4, 5, 6, and 7 use the same User library location for application support database files.
After free Logos 6 upgrade, if open error repeats, support page => What to do if Logos Crashes
Logos 4 and Logos 5 are no longer supported => https://www.logos.com/support/free-support while Logos 6 currently has Maintenance (anticipating change to unsupported next year after Logos 7 Core Engine is freely available).
By the way, initial Logos 4 Mac Gold Master release was on 17 Sep 2010 and the first Logos 4 Mac Alpha release was on 26 Oct 2009 (~7 years ago). Logos for Mac 1 shipped on 5 Dec 2008 (~8 years ago). Logos wiki has => Mac Release Notes and History

Thank you everyone! I now know I need to upgrade, at least to the free Logos 6 engine. I appreciate your help!
Glad to help. Let us know how it goes and don't hesitate to ask for help.
Update: I upgraded to the Logos 6 engine, thanks to your advice, and wow, it works great!
Excellent news!
