Hi all,
I just updated Logos and think this may have been fine. I have also updated Microsoft Word (Office 365 for Mac from Liberty University), and now when I paste quotes from resources in Logos 7 to my Word documents, the footnote is pasted into the text rather than into the footnote area. It appears like this in Word:
I have been at my present church for almost eight years. “Children” are now entering high school, lifting weights, driving cars, competing in swim meets.
John McLarty, “Excitement versus Faithfulness,” Adventist Today (Riverside, CA: Adventist Today Foundation, 2006), 2.
Previously, by default, when I would paste quotes, it would add a superscript footnote number and place the citation in the footnote area of the document. I cannot get it to do this anymore. I have changed the keyboard setting to pastedestinationformat, but this has not changed it. The only time it works is if I select paste special and select paste as RTF. If, I then try to create a macro to cover this process, it does not work. I don't know if there is a change n Word that will now need to be accounted for in logos, or if there was a change in Logos, or a mistake in the Word update. I use Turban, and I went into Logos preferences and tried Chicago style with the same result.
Any suggestions are welcome.
