Catholic Daily Readings fails to open
Make of device:
Nvidia K1 tablet patched to latest Marshmallow 6.0.1 SHIELD software version 1.5
Sdcard is formated as internal storage. At first it was formated as portable storage but changed to internal storage. Verbum has been reinstalled since then. This looks like a permissions issue with Verbum and the most recent Nvidia Marshmallow update. Verbum version is 5.8.3.
Network status is online and device has been rebooted since fresh Verbum install.
Error message upon navigating to Catholic Daily readings is "Could not open offline resource" then there is a "Retry" button which does not work. Please update your Verbum to accomodate latest Marshmallow persmissioms scheme.

Hi Graham,
Thank you for your quick response and the support link. Unfortunately I tried to reinstall Verbum and it didn't work. Also this is a fresh install. Stoarge is greyed out and turned off and if I try to turn on it says "Screen Overlay Detected" and takes me to another menu where Verbum is not even in the list. I'm at a loss.
Best Regards,
Lance

Well I forgot to mention upon first install and reinstalls of Verbum it would initially crash then upon second launch would work. But I have seemed to fix it by going into Settings -> Apps -> Storage
And clearing Data and clearing Cache. Now Catholic Daily Readings opens! Why would that be...I'm wondering? Thanks guys for the hyperlinks.
Consider this as resolved.
