I recently added a signature to my forum profile.  Till now, I have just typed my own signature at the bottom of my posts.  Now all my posts - both and old ones and the new ones have the newly added signature.  This means some of them now have two signatures.  Strange, very strange.

Yeah, the signature that's part of your forum profile will automatically show up whenever a post of yours is displayed, just as if you change your avatar it will change in all your posts -- both old and new. So if you had typed a signature as part of the content of a post, it will have two signatures.
