Had something similar happen to me, but when I closed and reopened the Courses tool, everything displayed normally.

I have the same problem as Martin. Even after closing and reopening course tool and program, it's still the sam as Martin screen shot.

Confirming this problem!
Sometimes reopening the courses tool fixes it, but often it doesn't. Playing around with floating and/or resizing the window is another way to eventually get content to show.
Another phenomenon that's likely related is the disappearance of the completion status indicators. Unfortunately the tool is feeling like it's in the Alpha testing phase!

Reuben,
I'll take a look at this. Can you indicate how frequently it happens as well as posting your logs? I'm not able to reproduce this so any info you can give would help.

Thank you
I have been playing since my OP. It seems to depend upon the size of the panel into which the tool is loaded.
I also noticed that when in the corrupt form (as my screen shot) I can use the mouse to drag the RHS of the panel, revealing a ?content? area and forcing the panel to redraw.
Finally, I wonder if this is related to the bug where, after completing a lesson, and clicking on continue, I have been left with a blank panel ... and needing the button to shoe/hide the TOC panel before the contents of the next lesson appears. (Both Beta, and stable, since the advent of the tool).

Martin,
We've got a case open for this issue.

In case it helps any with identifying the bug, I discovered that dragging and releasing the courses panel (into the same pane) causes it to refresh and display properly.

Rubin,
This also happens when resource scaling is set higher than 100%. We've got a case for this.

Hi Philana
Do we have an update on this? It is almost two months now ... and it has actually got worse in the last couple of weeks ... there seem to be no work arounds at all now!
I am very grateful for the courses tool, without which mEd was a poor (expensive) experience. I am very grateful for the FLTV weekend ... but was a little frustrated when demonstrating mEd to a potential user, especially over the value for money aspect, that the courses tool would not work again. The working resolution (100%) makes the text too small to read on a high res monitor.
... Thanks.

Martin,
Can you confirm if this is still an issue? We made improvements in Beta 4 that improved the Homepage that should also have corrected this issue with the Courses Tool. My scaling is now set to 110% and the Courses Tool loads without problems. Because different displays can also impact this particular problem I want to make sure that the Courses Tool is now displaying properly for you with Program Scaling above 100%.
Blessings,
Philana
