I got a new machine this week, i5, 8GB ram, and it is taking forever to download my library. I'm now on day 3 and there is still 4.5GB out of 12.8GB left to download. Are the servers running slow?
Dave, I don't believe it's the Logos Servers for I've downloaded within that time frame & everything rolled down the pipes quite smoothly.
If you're still running, sometimes it's best to disconnect and begin again ... at the very outset. Where you're at now, I'd understand you'd want to finish the week out and complete it.
My suggestion though is, next time when you see it's doing that right at the outset, disconnect and reconnect. It's worked for me. Let me know if you've got it completed yet or if it's still pumping.
I have high speed internet and have experienced great problem downloading MobileEd, Hebrew, greek . . . videos in my hard drive. Still couldnt finish. help FL ?
You may want to go to www.speedtest.net and check to make sure your your internet speeds are what they are supposed to be. I have a newer Windows 10 machine and, sometimes, the internet speed will not be what it is supposed to be. When I restart the computer, it fixes it. I'm not sure why it happens though.
Yeah I checked speedtest and am pulling 15mb down which is expected for our connection.
I have restarted the machine several times. Literally the only thing going slow is the library download. Everything else is fast as expected.
