Thank you for this feature, it was high on my wish list, but I had this happen. I had two Content items selected, the first slide had a single line in the text field and another custom field with larger font and different color text. The two fields did not overlap. When I changed the background on both slides my custom field was clobbered. The text was changed back to "Example Text" but doesn't show on the slide. This happens either by Drag and Drop (which I really like) or import. One other time which I couldn't duplicate, the "Example Text" showed up on the second slide but there was no field defined. When I dragged the regular empty text field away from the "Example text" the text suddenly disappeared. I don't know what would happen if I had several slides with different text fields. I just wanted to get this in the hopper.
