I don't want to just hide, them I would like to delete them to free up space on my Windows 10 tablet, is there anyway to actually delete them>
When you "hide" them it actually deletes them from your computer. If you later "unhide" them they have to be downloaded again.
Besides hiding resources, what helped me to free space on my Windows 10 tablet was deleting the Logos webcache folder, as discussed here.
