Delete or Hide Books

My library is getting clutter with books I don't use nor want. How do I remove or hide them?

You could "hide" them - https://wiki.logos.com/Hiding_Books

What problem is this causing you?

I don't have the option "Hide this resource"... it is not a choice made available to me, does a setting have to be switched?

I don't want to see certain book when I'm doing a general search... others I simply don't want in my library anymore.

Are you using the appropriate keystroke combo from within the library? (Opt+right-click in Mac OR Ctrl+right-click in Windows.)

I would encourage you to be judicious in hiding books. I have hidden sampler books which are pointless, and duplicate books. The advantage to having a large library is that you don't know what books you need, and you may serendipitously find something in a book you never knew about (or didn't want at some point!).

Hear hear! Hiding books would deprive you of some perspective or insight you might not have come across, otherwise. I've even found very useful results in temporary preview resources, that I wouldn't have normally had in my library.
Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

I have a collection called Basic Verbum/Logos Library that is what I run my general searches against. For me, this has proved to be simpler are more easily adjusted than hiding items.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

While I have hidden a few books, I use the following method for managing what I see and what I search on. It has the advantage of allowing me to choose the scope I deem appropriate for what I'm doing.
I apply the tag "Core" to the books that I consider to be a part of my working library. This took a while to get done in the beginning. I tagged some items in mass, such as commentary sets. Now, it's just part of what I do when acquiring a new resource.
The next step was to create a collection that simply pulls everything with this tag. It can be used with searches and with viewing my library. I also have created a couple variations on this. One pulls all books from the 20th century forward and the other the 19th and earlier.
Hope this helps.
