Hi All, has anyone got any experience of using images in personal books? I have a number of images (jpgs) that I have put into a Word document but when I compile it the resulting file in Logos is completely empty. Any help? Thoughts?
Blessings
Mark
Hi Mark - and welcome to the forums
Does the "Pictures and Images" section at https://wiki.logos.com/Personal_Books#Hints_and_Tips help?
Graham
I have no Problems
Are the Pictures in a Table?
Maybe here is the Problem?
Neither method works with Word 2003, so you have to save to docx from Word 2007
Hi All, thank you for your comments back. Graham I have looked at that document it doesn't seem to make any difference doing what it says (I am using Word 2016) have tried with using BMP and also making the image in-line). Hi Sascha, no not in tables - here is a link with the file that I am using as a test. http://www.westfieldurc.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Image-test.docx.
Any help would be brilliant.

I downloaded it and compiled it and ended up with a blank book.
I then exported the image from the document and imported it back in again ensuring wrapping was set to inline and it worked.
Try exporting / importing the image and see if that makes a difference.
Another way that worked on my computer, was to save the file as a "word 97-2003 Document (*.doc)" and then to save that file again as a .docx. If you have a lot of pictures, that might be even better than Graham's way.
HI Graham, bless you that works perfectly. It appears that if you drag and drop the image file onto the Word Document without using the insert pictures option it doesn't format them properly. I have tried it with all my images by importing them using the insert pictures and all works great. Thank you. Thanks for your comments too Bernhard.
Blessings and thanks all.
Glad you have it working Mark

if you even cut it out STRG/c and past it in again save it it show the picture.
sooo....the easiest Way would be if you have a large Document with many pictures. select all, cut out and past in???
Fantastic - thanks all.
