BUG? Problem with Map Scale Markers in Biblical Places

It appears that the scaling markers (that indicate the scale of the map) are incorrect, in part at least. This can be seen when comparing the scale included on the map itself, and the one that the Biblical Places tool updates dynamically according to zoom level. See diagram below.

I have moved the latter marker above the one included with the map for comparison.

The red arrow indicates 100km according to the latter scale
The blue arrow indicates 100km according to the former scale.

The Ctrl+Drag measuring tool agrees with the latter.

This is an area I'm not familiar with but I brought up the map entitled The Ministry of Peter and Philip from Matt 4.25. At actual size I found that the distances on screen of the map scale from 0 - 10 and 10 - 20 were noticeably different. The 10 - 20 distance was closest to the zoom scale ie. 2 x 5 zoom = 47 mm on screen whilst 10 - 20 map = 45 mm.

Couldn't get Ctrl+Drag to do anything on my laptop.
