Non-beta 5.9.2 version doesn't show ratings stars?

I was surprised to see ratings stars in Graham's (beta) iOS screenshot. Graham thought the non-beta should also have the stars.

I'm running 5.9.2 on my iPad, and don't see any newer update available.

Per his request, I'm posting my screenshot which doesn't show stars in my Library view.

Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

Thanks for starting a new thread

I do see them in 5.9.2 (I have a stable Verbum version)

Just double-checking - do you have star ratings associated to the resources shown here?

No, I almost never bother to rate resources. When I sort by ratings, I do see stars for the few that I took the time to rate.

I guess I understand the logic, but I expected different behavior (similar to how the store shows other peoples' ratings when we hadn't voted).

    Thanks for clearing that up!

Are the 2 star ratings yours? If so, I'm curious to hear what you didn't like about Dr. Futato's Hebrew course.

I just started learning (Modern and Biblical) Hebrew this year. I've only used Duolingo up to this point, so I don't have any practical experience with biblical resources or courses.

That makes sense then - no ratings to display[:)]

Yes - that uses community ratings whereas the mobile apps use ratings we have applied (the desktop shows community ones unless we have applied our own)

Yes - they are mine. But they are consistent with how others do it as well - there were some earlier discussions some time ago.

For me, the two-star rating simply shows that I have got round to rating it. As such it doesn't indicate what I thought about the resource at all.

Ah, thanks for explaining how you use the star system. That makes sense.

As for the desktop showing community ratings, and mobile omitting them, that did trip me up. I expected the two platforms would handle ratings similarly.

I've been using tags to track what I have to get around to reading, and I've been satisfied with that, so the question as to why the stars didn't show up on mobile was more of a curiosity (and discovery between expected and actual behavior).

Thanks again for providing the answer!
