Syntax Search - Preposition w/ two objects

As I'm continuing to attempt to learn the syntax search in L4, I came across this blog post - http://blog.logos.com/archives/2009/05/greek_syntax_preposition_with_multiple_objects.html- from Rick Brannan on searching for a preposition with two objects. I thought this would be a good way for me to learn - before I looked at how Rick did his, I attempted my on. Here's what I came up with.

After running mine, I watched Rick's video and realized he put in some restraints that he didn't mention in the blog post - he restricted the prepositions to ἐκ , ἐξ, or ἐν. He also used the Open-Text database instead of Cascadia.

I'm going to redo my search with his restraints and see if I can come with results similar to his, but using Cascadia. Meanwhile, do you see anything that I'm getting wrong with the search as it is so far?

This solution will reduce the number of duplicate results due to skipped levels (440 to 396 without the Anything's).

When you introduce 2 x Anything in the Nominal Phrase you get many false positives eg. in Matt 4:13, so you have to structure it to get the missing results you desire eg. Matt 3:11 (which is better than sorting thru 8742 results!).

Ok - here's my updated search. This doesn't return Matt 4:13, and does get Matt 3:11.

Changing my search to look for the prepositions ἐκ or ἐν - I get 62 results (from a count of the verses) where Rick had 64.

Because Rick had specific requirements you need to run his OpenText query to check you are getting the same/similar results. Then you know you have the right approach, and the results are as close as you can get with different database designs.

I recreated Rick's OpenText search in L3 and came up with his 64 hits. His returned 6 hits that my Cascadia search missed, and mine returned 6 hits that his didn't, so I adjusted my search to try to catch all of his and came up with this --

This returns 80 results--all of Rick's except for 2Pe 1:1 and 1:2 (which are false hits). It also returns a number that his didn't catch--primarily ones like Rev 7:9 where there is an adjective right after the preposition.

And that appears to be an adequate refinement. I presume that Anything was needed to catch some of Rick's results, which may have been adjectives?

I first put it in to catch a number of cases where there was an article before the first noun. Then I realized it caught the adjectives that Rick's didn't.
