Question for FL: Why the repeated payment plan fee charges each time I add an order to my existing p

I am an avid FL supporter as evident in my purchase history.
I have made several purchases over the months in 2016, which I have added to the SAME, existing payment plan (No 69714). In order words, I simply COMBINED a current purchase with an existing payment plan.
I have noticed that for several orders (see the invoice), you have charged me again and again for the monthly payment plan fee for the SAME, existing payment plan.
Take for example,
Order number: 10231897 ($90 payment plan fee)
Order number: 10135523 ($100 payment plan fee)
Order number: 10079798 ($100 payment plan fee)
Order number: 10319199 ($65 payment plan fee)
Order number: 10382020 ($100 payment plan fee)
Hence, I am being charged multiple times for the payment plan fees for the SAME, single payment plan (No 69714).
Is this the normal, usual practice in FL?
I would greatly appreciate your response.

When you place the order, the fee shows up on the order, because the order doesn't know it's going to be stacked with an existing plan.
When the new order is added to the existing plan, the order's remaining fees are subtracted from the balance owed for that order before it is added to the existing plan.
Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

Why am I charged a service fee? Is that interest?
The $5 monthly service fee is not interest, but is collected to cover the very real administrative costs associated with the payment plan.
You should be paying $5 a month in fees for each contract (payment plan) you have with Faithlife. Are you looking at the down payments perchance?

So does that mean the deduction for payment plan fee is nett $5 monthly? This is confusing, but thanks for the explanation.

The charges for payment plan fee was reflected in each order invoice I receive via email. So I assume that was the charge per order. As I have requested the sales rep to ADD the current purchase to my existing payment plan, I was not expecting to see the additional payment plan fee charges in each email invoice I receive.

Contact customer service... If your payment plans are combined, you'll only be charged the SINGLE $5 charge per month. The confirmation emails would show a $5 fee per month per payment plan purchase... but that is to be expected if you ordered them separately.

Yes I was confused by the individual order invoices. It is all clear now!
I would like to commend Zachary Wilkes who had taken time to explain this to me (and for assisting me in my transactions with FL). Thanks again Zach!

I've been so disconnected from FL that I didn't even know they returned to allowing combining plans. Dave Kaplin would have explained that to me, of course, but...
