split reading pane: new?!
I just noticed a new, second, reading pane for a few selected works. Now that is interesting. Anybody else notice that?
I also noticed when I use my scroll wheel to quickly move down, the screen "whites out" briefly.
I like Apples. Especially Honeycrisp.

I remember reading somewhere on these forums that this is an experimental (beta) feature. You can click on "hide" on the separation bar to hide the commentary text.

Whyndell, this is about bible.logos.com. Just take a quick peek and you should see (in case you were thinking this was an L4 feature, which it is not) [:)] Easier than explaining it.

Ok- yes I thought it was a L4 feature- sorry.

I'd love to see a split reading pane in L4. There are times when I want to scroll to see a different part of Scripture (in the same version) without losing my place, perhaps even to read the two parts side-by-side. I've tried opening a second panel of the same Bible version but that isn't possible. So either split reading panes or allowing the same version to be open multiple times in different panels would be a useful feature.

Hi,
This is possible now for me and I believe this was possible for quite a few weeks.
Just open a Bible, right click on description (left above) and click "Open a copy in a new tab".

Um, yeah. Like that.
I was about to say "Nice Photoshopping job!" But lo and behold, the feature I wanted is there already. I hadn't even checked the right-click menu. Duh. I had just tried opening a version again via the command bar, but that merely brought the focus back to the existing open tab.
I love it when Logos implements my feature requests so quickly! [:)]

How do you close the split pane on the Android app?
I stumbled upon a button in the lower right to start it, but can't find a means to close it. I am in Portrait mode. Do I need to be in Landscape to close or "hide" the second pane?
When I tap or hold on the dividing line, a menu pops up to ask for "panel settings" and gives me a check box for "Link Panels" and a button to "Sync Panels" but neither seem to do anything. Also I can't see any "Hide" function.
I just installed the App last week from Google play so I believe it should be the latest version.

Drag the semi-circle at the middle (bottom) of the split screen to either side and you will get back to a single screen
