Am I am why Logos Version 4 is Slow?

I thought, "Having the info window so slow, causes me to slow down when I study and prepare lessons; it opens up time to reflect a bit more while the little wheel spins". I thought, "This is, in the long, run a good thing...it causes me to be more reflective". I thought, "God is trying to teach me patience, to soak more in the study....to be patient while expert people work". Is it possible that my lesson is causing everyone else to endure this for my behalf? I thought, "No, It cannot be that I am the reason,...just be patient."
L4 is so wonderful...I will be so happy when they get the realtime issues fixed.

The info window is much better in 4.0b due next week. There's more information in a video I made: http://www.4-14.org.uk/logos-bible-software-tutorial-videos#40b

I have my 4.0b upgrade. The info window has additional control so that now I can get the same info in loosely the same time (nonscientific estimate) I could in ver 3. Having it upgrade on click instead of hover, and gtting rid of unused info displayed in the window was a key for me. Thanks to Logos for listening to us and fixing this item....joe

Turns out that the above "satisfied" response was before indexing finished. Now that indexing is done....I am "very" satisfied with the info window. Everybody go move your votes to other items. [:)]
Thanks again to Logos

Jeff, there are many reasons why Logos might be slow on your machine. First, do you have enough memory to meet the Recommended System Requirements? While the minimum requirements are only 1 GB, the recommended requirements include 3 GB of RAM. "Minimum" means it will run; it doesn't mean it will be a pleasant experience. If you have less than 3 GB of RAM, I would highly recommend upgrading to at least 3 GB. I think 4 GB is ideal. Logos will take full advantage of all the memory you can throw at it, because it uses multi-threaded processes to do all its simultaneous searching and filling out different sections of Passage Guides, etc.
I think upgrading memory is probably the top suggestion for increasing the performance. You will find some other suggestions here: http://wiki.logos.com/Logos_Running_Slowly
