According to the A15 release notes the following should be working for Bible Word Study.

Bible Word Study

  • Septuagint section now works
  • Bible verse reference links appear in the concordance view after clicking on a ring graph segement or on the word in the center
  • Fixed crash/hang when running a Bible word study on Greek words
  • Density graph should no longer show an empty graph

However, when I pull up Bible Word Study nothing is working.  If I search on word nothing happens.  Wondering if others have noticed the same thing or if this is just me.

Thanks.

Yep - Sorry it is just you [;)]

Searching on 'prison' gives me a definition - some circles with words in Hebrew and Greek but clicking on the segments of the circle gives me never-ending loading indicators.

However searching on 'Saviour' jumps back to 'Save' but searching - for the non-English spellers on -  'Savior' gives the result I was hoping to get with 'Saviour' (all with the above limitations).

Some work still to do methinks.

Interesting & puzzling...  I wonder why this isn't functioning on my computers.

Agree with Mike about Bible Word Study (BWS) showing results - screenshot and log posting could be helpful.  Forum  http://community.logos.com/forums/t/6731.aspx has logging setup and posting information.

Since my Logos 4 library includes "The Lexham Greek-English Interlinear Septuagint", decided to illustrate some A15 release note items. Along way found repeatable resource issue and stacktrace error - details after A15 screenshot showing Septuagint section with verse references:

To reproduce error, launched Logos 4 to Home Page, resized to fit screen, choose "Genesis arche" layout, watched Activity Monitor until Logos 4 went idle, which included waiting minutes for reference load errors:

2010-03-14 18:53:20.4883 6 Error RichTextReference Could not load reference: bdb.1126.1

2010-03-14 18:53:24.0298 13 Error RichTextReference Could not load reference: bdb.1126.1

2010-03-14 18:55:40.7360 8 Error RichTextReference Could not load reference: bdb.1126.1

Clicked BWS Septuagint Translation ראשׁית so Ge 1:1 reference appeared.  Clicking "After ... was at the first" in BWS Translation produces a stacktrace error:

14-3-10 14 Mar 10 @ 7:00:26 PM Logos Bible Software 4[1343] Exception NSInvalidArgumentException: *** -[NSCFArray initWithObjects:count:]: attempt to insert nil object at objects[1]

Captured window content with BWS Translation spinning load indicator, saved as PNG for posting. Compressed and attached Logo4.log file and Console Messages with complete stacktrace:

    3808.A15-Genesis-Arche.zip

By the way, clicking BWS Translation word in the center also causes stacktrace - other items appear fine with verse reference links.

    Keep Smiling [:)]

  • Also learned in Bible Word Study to wait several seconds after "loading" pop-up appears - rewarded with useful diagram showing hebrew lemma translated into various greek lemmas:
